Instagram Unfairly Deleted The “Greeks Come True” Calendar Account

Instagram has deleted yet another male calander’s account without any explanation.

Instagram’s “no go” rules in terms of photos depicting the body/nudity are that they will ban “photos, videos and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks.”

Unfortunately, it looks like the account of the Greeks Come True calendar has become the latest target of Instagram’s ridiculous “attempt” to withhold those rules, according to Queerty.

While the calendar itself shows the men in all types of poses and clothing arrangements (or lack thereof), the Instagram account maintained a lustful yet tasteful look.

Unfortunately, as they shared in a statement recently, Instagram decided that wasn’t good enough.

“We have always strived to promote a healthy, archetypal image of male beauty, one that echoes our cultural heritage as Greeks while in addition challenges the norms imposed by mainstream media,” they shared in the statement.

Unfortunately, it seems that their account is still down despite protests, but don’t be worried. You can still get your Greek fill.

The Facebook account, which is the parent company of Instagram, is still up and running and still have several of the same photos as the ones that were once on Instagram.

Plus, you can still buy the calendar which puts caution to the wind and shows the men in all their glory.

  1. Instagram can be funny if it

Instagram can be funny if it feels there is potential copyright infringement. I’ve known people who have had photos removed for this reason, but they were notified first.
