Ready to celebrate meat in March? It was 10 years ago back in 2016 when we first heard of this wonderful holiday. Our good friends over at DNA Magazine made us aware of another celebration in the month of March besides St. Patrick’s Day and it’s one we are guaranteed to like better than February’s Valentine’s Day.
We like to celebrate a lot of things around the world, but one of our favourites here on the DNA website is International Steak and Blowjob day.
According to Urban Dictionary:
Steak and Blowjob Day is celebrated on March 14th, Steak and Blowjob Day is a holiday for men, celebrated the month after Valentine’s Day.
The idea is simple: no cards, flowers, candy or other whimsical gifts. You simply bestow your partner with a steak and a blowjob. Not necessarily in that order.

Just added to DNA was a nice inspirational clip of the boys getting ready behind the scenes.
It sounds like this was a straight holiday constructed to thank men for putting up with all the women’s St. Valentine’s Day crap, I mean, loving and thoughtfulness. The Official Steak and Blowjob Day webpage is no longer functioning now in 2026, but it was very hetero-centric and apparently is set up to help a charity.
Steak and BJ Day 2016 is (almost) here!

Some other variations have popped up like Steak and Knobber Day (sounds a little British), but they’re celebrating on March 20th, not on the 14th, not one month after Valentine’s Day. I guess we could celebrate on both the 14th and the 20th, right? Twice the meat, twice the fun?
No matter the day or the reason, it sounds like a holiday we can take over. And as their slogan said back in 2016 …
