It may be cold outside, but Tony Award winners Idina Menzel (Wicked) and Billy Porter (Kinky Boots) bring the heat as they throw down some big-band musical magic in this new holiday music video.
Accompanied by back-up dancers and sparkles, sparkles, sparkles, the duo shines bright in a swinging “I Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” from Menzel’s new holiday album, Christmas: A Season of Love.
Currently trending #1 on Amazon’s Classic chart, the new holiday collection also teams the Wicked star with pop princess Ariana Grande, Beauty and the Beast star Josh Gad, and her husband, Broadway veteran Aaron Lohr.
Both Menzel and Porter are in seemingly perpetual motion this holiday season.
Last weekend, Menzel saw her latest movie, Frozen 2, break all kinds of records banking over $358 million worldwide as well as scoring the biggest global opening of all time for an animated feature and the third biggest domestic opening for an animated film.
The Wicked star also took part in the unveiling of the Saks Fifth Avenue holiday window display in New York City and is set to host CBS’ 21st annual A Home For The Holidays special on Sunday, December 22, which celebrates the season while raising awareness for adoption and America’s foster care system.
Porter, a newly-crowned Emmy Award winner for his star turn on the FX series Pose, recently stunned at the American Music Awards, has just signed on to co-host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, and covers the current issue of Palm Springs Life Magazine.
Porter will also appear at Menzel’s Carnegie Hall concert on December 11.
