Imagine fighting your way through Backstreet Boys, O-Town and One Direction. You think you’ve successfully cleared all the hottest boy banders in pop music history, but then you stumble upon Midnight Til Morning. This group of four has been on the rise since 2025 with nonstop touring and surprise concerts. It’s only a matter of time before they make it into the big leagues, although their debut EP, ‘Afterglow,’ managed to chart within the Top 20 in Australia.
Comprised of Shane Appell, Zach Newbould, Conor Smith and Mason Watts, Midnight Til Morning was created during their fourth-place finish on Netflix’s Building the Band. Love is Blind meets The Voice, Building the Band had young, aspiring singers form boy, girl or boy-girl groups based only on voice and vibe through the phone. Each member of the group joined the band on their own free will and had a hand in creating their musical identity.
Speaking of identity. Shane Appell is my favorite member of Midnight Til Morning because, well, he’s really hot. I’ll admit it, but at least he has the vocals to match. From singing on Netflix and sharing videos on his social media, Shane has an outstanding range that commands the stage whenever he steps out to perform with the group. He’s relatable, he’s charismatic, he’s funny and he appears to be very kindhearted. And boy can blow.
With that out of the way, yeah, Shane is really hot. I don’t know if it’s the curls, the blue eyes, the muscles or the tattoos – but when people say, “they have the look,” he has the look. And the wonderful thing about that is, for both his gay and straight fans, he’s not shy about showing off his physique on social media. While the other three members of Midnight Til Morning are also incredibly good looking in their own ways, Shane’s just god mode level attractive.

Since he’s a young buck, I made sure to double check that this singing stud is a suitable age before we commence thirsting. A Google search says he’s 23-years-old and from New York, so Shane Appell, prepare to receive a lot more hearts on your thirst traps because you just gained a shit ton of new gay fans. Now, get back in the studio with the rest of Midnight Til Morning and give us a moody fall anthem that we can vibe to while hexing our exes.
