When I first saw this pic, my first thought was, "Congrats John for finally going without the faux fur!" Then I thought, he goes to Planet Fitness?
But others think that Travolta was cruising for more than just a spotter at 3 A.M. The pic was found via Gawker, originally on Reddit, where the repetitive implications fly that John desired more than conversation and a photo opp. The fellow gym member in the photo states:
Last night, the actor John Travolta surprised one lucky fan when he introduced himself to the man, at the gym, where they were alone, together, at three in the morning. "I thought I was at the gym by myself at 3am," the man wrote on Reddit, but he wasn't, because John Travolta was there, too, being friendly, to a male stranger, at the gym, in the dead of night. – Gawker
Is there a story here? Are we searching for evidence that Travolta is one of the family? This does bring back Travolta's recent issue of being sued by a gym employee for groping (the fourth to do so). Reading through the Reddit posts, there are stories of other guys meeting Travolta in the gym late at night where similar conversations were had. Others on Reddit commented:
It was 3am. There is no other reason for an allegedly closeted gay dude to be at the gym at that hour. Like someone else here said, the guy owns his own plane and a private landing strip. He could afford to have a nice, private home gym.
So was he trolling? Or was he just making conversation since there was just one other person in the gym. I've been one of three people in a gym before and guys have started a conversation with me and I know they weren't trying to pick me up.
In Mr. Travolta's defense, this is a Planet Fitness. They are open 24 hours a day. And Mr. Travolta might not be near his home. He might be on a film set and this was the only time he could fit in his workout. (Yeah…right.)
Without the yeah right, I could agree with that Reddit-er. Maybe the guy just wanted to work out in a gym that wasn't too busy, especially at the beginning of the year with all of the New Year's resolutioners around.
How can you be sure? Maybe he's just wearing another guy's face?

is it anyone else's business but his ???? Why do people feel they've the right to speculate or criticize , he went to the gym he spoke to someone big deal , if he went there and spoke to nobody he'd be criticised for that to ,why is it assumed there's something sinister about his coming and going at 3am to a gym , people need to be concerned with what's going on in their own lives and let him live his

I have no idea what he was
I have no idea what he was doing there, but I can tell you that I used to live about 10 minutes from his above mentioned private landing strip and mansion and I worked at the Starbucks and Walmart in town. That being said he was known for coming to Starbucks AT closing so that he could have coffee without being bothered and then he would go shopping at Walmart anywhere between 2 and 5 am so that he wasn't hounded by fans. It really doesn't surprise me that he's at the gym at 3 am.
