They’ve put their musical magical touches on everything from Sia’s “Move Your Body” to their epic World Pride 2019 remix of Kylie Minogue’s “New York City”, but the dynamic musical duo of Toy Armada and DJ Grind have once again put their dazzling touch on a track from one of our favorite pop princesses of the summer, Carly Rae Jepsen. They premiered their mix of Jepsen’s single “Too Much” today and it contains every facet of an “Armada & Grind” remix that you could want & have come to expect. The entire production is a true “event”, with horns leading you into Jepsen’s sweet vocals, but building to a chorus that elevates Jepsen’s voice completely in the hands of these mix masters. The build-ups truly frame this mix into something absolutely glorious, but giving space to let the mix breathe to showcase its true danceability.
Like their last outing with her (their remix earlier this year of her single “Party For One” remains a dance floor staple), their mix of her single “Too Much” is destined for some summer lovin’ on dance floors everywhere.
