Real World 2019 And Urban Drama “Letters [LGBT]” Are Looking For LGBTQ Talent

The Real World is coming back, and you could be on it.

Bunim-Murray productions and MTV announced that they are currently casting for a new season of The Real World.

The popular reality series, which aired from 1992 to 2013, is the latest tv series to be revived. That's pretty understandable seeing that the show has given us some sensational scenes and has even given us a few celebs like Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown.

Again, the production company behind the show has announced that it is currently casting for the 2019 season. The show is seeking cast members aged 21-34 to be roommates in this new iteration. In addition, the Backstage page reveals that the season is actively looking for a transgender cast member.

The production will take place between March and May of 2019 and pay is currently to be determined.

But that’s not all. Along with this notice about “The Real World,” is one about an urban drama.

Letters [LGBT] is currently casting for it’s leads and supporting characters.

The drama follows a young, gay, black man as he tackles several issues that his family, his community, and young black men like him deal with on a daily basis.

The series is being produced and distributed by LGBTQ streaming service TysonPlus. The website’s description explains:

“TYSONPLUS is a video streaming service that features a diverse collection of content that tells the stories of those within the LGBT Community, Black Community, and more. Subscribe monthly to enjoy some of the most unique media content on the web from multiple genres – Urban Fantasy, Drama, LGBT, Romance and Short Films.”

TysonPlus is currently looking for it’s lead named Anton who’s “an urban-raised kid who often finds himself in trouble; constantly at war with the adults in his life and dealing with his sexuality in private.”

In addition, the production is casting his romantic interest named Dillon who’s, “a jock who must decided between his girlfriend and his new found sexuality.”

If either of those roles sound interesting to you, you can check out the application process through this link.

Good luck!
