RuPaul’s Working On A Daytime Talk Show

RuPaul is on the way to becoming a talk show host.

Variety just broke the news that the Emmy-wining host of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is currently filming a talk show pilot for Telepictures.

If greenlit, the show would air sometime in Fall 2019 and be filmed in front of a live audience. So far, the format would include celebrity interviews, beauty tips, games, and pop culture gossip. In addition, Michelle Visage is also in the show in an unspecified role.

Telepictures is the syndication production arm of Warner Bros. and is behind the popular Ellen DeGeneres talk show and The Real.

If this talk show works out, this will be yet another project in RuPaul’s hands. This includes an upcoming Netflix comedy series titled AJ and the Queen in which he will star, write, and executive produce, and a Hulu series based on his life that will be executive produced by J.J. Abrams.
