The Los Angeles A-gays get their own reality series when “Men of West Hollywood” premieres on January 20, 2022.

Over the course of 10 episodes, viewers will get to know six of “the biggest male socialites in West Hollywood,” according to a press statement.

Viewers will follow the men (and their boyfriends and girlfriends) as they bop from glamorous red carpets to WeHo’s “hottest parties.”

In addition to the lavish LA lifestyles, the newly-released trailer shows there’s going to be plenty of drama along the way complete with drinks tossed in faces, wagging fingers, pool shoves, and “I am done” arguments.

“You’re going to try and sit there and act like you’re god’s gift to West Hollywood…?”

“Well, I am bitch – how about that???”

The series appears to have been shot in 2019, but we’re guessing the pandemic complicated release dates. You can watch the trailer on the show’s official website here.

As first glance, the series seems reminiscent of the 2010 reality show “The A-List: New York” (remember Reichen Lehmkuhl of “Amazing Race” fame?). That show purported to serve up “New York’s gay elite…as they navigate being fabulous in the city.”

A decade later, it will be interesting to see how “Men of West Hollywood” sets itself apart from past docs-series.

Viewers will be able to tune in for free on the free Crackle streaming platform beginning January 20, 2022.

  2. Instinct… will you also be sharing the blame for negatively affecting our gay youth by promoting THIS as an aspiration to go up to be?

    • Hi Jay, thanks for your comment. I wrote the article. Instinct Magazine reports on current entertainment and pop culture of interest to the LGBTQ community. A new series located in West Hollywood featuring gay men and their lives as the center of the series clearly falls under that purview. The article was not a review nor an endorsement. We reported the premise of the show and its upcoming debut. There’s no blame to be had just as we aren’t to be “blamed” for reporting on violence against LGBTQ people. We provide information and readers can make their own decisions as to watch or not. Thanks for reading Instinct and have a great weekend!

  5. I live in WEHO and these are just a bunch of nobodies, lol

Oh and most of them are sex workers too, but they think they’re too above the rest of the actually out and proud sex workers, so they think they’re special, and some kind of influencers. Yeah, right, hahaha.

Bunch of loser transplants with no personality who think the Abbey is Hollywood and being at some drug filled parties leeching off the hosts in the Hills make them special.

Also ask them about their coke and k habits and the fact that they crash at friends’ places coz they have no money for rent… but yeah… stars lol

Also word of advice to all the wanna-bes, it doesn’t matter who you know, what matters is who knows you. And I guess nobody knows these nobodies.

  9. This is garbage! Most of you don’t even know what Crackle is. This show is a piss poor representation of Weho life. You don’t have a single local queen in the bunch. Allusia Alusia would be great for this. Until you open the cast up to actual residents of weho, this show will be trash.

  11. Um I know this might sound weird but I love these gay reality shows, The A-List : NY & Dallas, Fire Island, etc. Can’t wait, who doesn’t love seeing gorgeous gay men.

    • You can google porn for gorgeous gay men. This gives young people in the middle of nowhere the idea that it’s this way or no way. I live in weho and this makes me sad.

      • I agree. This is neither aspirational, nor inspirational in ways that move us as a community forward in empowering ways. The filmmakers and cast should be ashamed they support this type of narrative about gay culture in West Hollywood.
