Last night’s Attitude Awards had a beautiful surprise.
Last month, Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK introduced the world to their Brit Crew. And among the group of very exposed men was Matt Lister. And now, it appears that Matt is making headlines again. This time for an even more personal reason and a much, much happier one.
While at the Attitude Awards last night, Matt appeared in full Brit Crew garb. Meaning, nothing but a pair of Union Jack shorts. But what was assumed to be a fun but simple night of awards show pageantry ended up being a stunning, life-changing event for Lister.
Lister came up to the stage to help announce the winner of a charity raffle. But when he did, he was surprised to see his boyfriend chosen to pick the lucky ticket. After Darren Styles, the magazine’s owner, called his boyfriend up, Lister jokingly began to twerk for the man. But upon turning back around, he was surprised to see his lover down on one knee. The room then broke out into applause.
