Video: AIDS/LifeCycle 2013 Red Dress Day

A sea of red riders and roadies flooded through central California yesterday for the 2013 AIDS/LifeCycle Red Dress Day. Check out all the red hot action in a video chronicling the most popular day of the rid courtesy of the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center.

From the description:

It's tradition on AIDS/LifeCycle, the 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, to wear red on the fifth day of the event as cyclists pedal their way through small towns in the central part of California. Not surprisingly, many opt for red dresses and colorful outfits.  You think it's tough pedaling 100 miles in a day?  Try doing it while wearing pumps!

This year the 2,700+ cyclists and volunteer roadies, who raised a record $14.2 million for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation, may have also set a record for costume creativity as evidenced by this short video.
