The first trailer’s out for the upcoming Mary Poppins sequel.
If you missed the 90th Academy Awards, and James Ivory winning for his adaption of Call Me By Your Name, you probably also missed the release of the new Mary Poppins trailer.
The film, starring Emily Blunt and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, will be a sequel to the classic 1964 Disney film. The movie will see Poppins returning to find Jane and Michael Banks, the children from the first movie, all grown up.
The trailer randomly dropped during the Oscars last night to the happy (and in some cases unhappy) surprise of viewers. Then, of course, many of those viewers shared their thoughts on twitter.
