Three Billboards Posted In Los Angeles Raise Eyebrows!
OH MY GOD! Okay, quick backstory on my other full time gig – I’m an Assistant in the Entertainment Industry in Hollywood. Although many of the major companies are scattered, my building happens to be in Central Los Angeles. The Industry has been buzzing more than ever surrounding the #MeToo movement and much other Celebrity gossip. Trust me, it has tons of perks. One of those exciting moments were this morning. Upon my entrance – and thus everyone else our version of RuPaul’s Drag Race’s WERK room, we shrieked! Did you see the signs?! YES!
According to my own eyes and The Hollywood Reporter, a Conservative Street Artist, Sabo, had thrown slam advertisements upon billboards in Hollywood – and near my office – overnight. The billboards were draped with red fabric, paying homage to the Academy Awards which are this weekend. Speculation is led to believe one of the most Oscar nominated films, Three Billboards, was also payed homage to with the artists latest stunt. You may be familiar with Sabo: He made headlines recently for putting flyers around town with Meryl Streep and Harvey Weinstein together in a photo. Slashed cross Meryl’s photo were the words: “She Knew”. The signs were a hint Streep knew all about Weinstein’s alleged, gross antics.
Yes, feel totally free to scold me for supporting a Right-Wing Street Artist…which sounds like an oxymoron in itself. However, anyone who is standing against pedophiles, gross Hollywood secrets, and sexual assaults: Yeah, I’ll stick by them. Sabo’s latest attack on Hollywood’s horrible tales with the billboards are over the top. The artist calls out pedophiles, sexual attackers, and possibly even the victims themselves. During lunch, I went to go take photos of myself in front of the billboards – but they had been REMOVED! WHY! There was pure speculation that the tarps were going to swiped only to reveal the Celebrity underneath. It’s a huge shame this wasn’t a possibility, but in all fairness, I don’t believe anyone nominated by the Academy is facing sexual assault allegations or has been involved in alleged, underage sex parties.
