YouTube Personality, Tyler Oakley Recaps His 2019

LGBT advocate and YouTube star, Tyler Oakley recapped 100 things he did in 2019 (see “100 Things We Did” video at end of post).  Oakley ran down the many things he did with video or photos of each thing.  Among the 100, Oakley did a video where he modeled some butt enhancing underwear.

Oakley also celebrated his 30th birthday.

Oakley and his best friend, Korey Kuhl were on “The Amazing Race”  Season 31 in 2019.  This was the second time Oakley and Kuhl competed on “The Amazing Race”, with the first time was Season 28.  The duo managed to survive each leg of the race (which he highlighted in some of his Instagram posts) to finish in third place in the finale in that season.  Season 31 Oakley and Kuhl finished in second place on the finale.

[SPOILERS] when you go on the #AmazingRace, so many fears bubble up. what if i’m not strong enough? not fast enough? not smart enough? what if it’s my fault our team loses? . when we finished in 3rd place on season 28 (see us in that second picture? BABIES!), those doubts turned into different fears: that our triumphs were a fluke, that our finalist status was based on luck or just the contexts of our season. coming back for season 31 felt not just like a second chance to win it all, but a chance to prove every doubt wrong. . and while we may not have won the million bucks (that drum set challenge taught me: maybe sometimes there IS a benefit to having a few screws loose… 🤪), we did get a chance to prove those doubts wrong: we absolutely were strong enough, fast enough, smart enough – we weren’t a fluke, and even against the best of the best, we held our own, broke records (most first place finishes of any team ever! a record now GLADLY shared with @colinguinn & @christiewoods1!), had a blast, never gave up, & ran the race true to our character outside the reality tv world – cheering for friends, staying out of drama, & focusing on doing our own personal best, together as a TEAM. . i couldn’t be more proud of my incredible teammate @koreykuhl. he kept me going during the most challenging moments, encouraged me, inspired me, & kept me smiling all around the world. bitch, this shit is hard! WAY harder than anything i’ve ever done in my life – & korey made it all easier. when we met in the MSU dorms 12 years ago, we never could have predicted any of our adventures… & to be able to say we’ve raced around the world twice, & cemented our status in the #AmazingRace history books?? 2007 us wouldn’t believe it. hell, i barely believe it today. . ‪thank you #AmazingRace creators for this dream of an experience, the bad-ass crew that captures this show beautifully, the legendary cast who helped make this route magical, & the viewers for all the love every single week!!‬ . 15 years after getting second place on their original season, Colin & Christie came back to finish the job – so maybe #TeamTylerAndKorey will see y’all again in 15 years?? …who knows!!

Oakley brought in “Glee” stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale to do a “Glee” plot challenge during one of his videos, in which both did not do well.

Among other things Oakley did in 2019 was go to Cabo San Lucas and Fire Island, had a drag makeover by Nina West, was in the World Pride Parade in New York City, and was co-host with Jane Lynch for Taylor Swift’s Prime Day Concert.

Did you do 100 things in 2019 that you could put together in a recap? Even the recap videos Facebook gives us at the end of the year only have like 5 pictures in them, but 100?

Here’s some more Instagram pics followed by Tyler’s 100 Things We Did in 2019 video recap.
