Earlier this month, we shared with you the viral photo of Cody Barlow’s truck. Barlow is a straight man living in Oklahoma who wanted to share his support of LGBTQ people. In order to do so, he taped the back of his pickup truck to create the Pride rainbow. In addition, he added the words, “Not all country boys are bigots. Happy Pride Month.”

Barlow also posted to Facebook to express why he taped up his truck.

“This is important to me, not only because I have family and friends that are LGBTQ+, but also because countless people have dealt with hatred and judgement simply for who they are, and/or who they love, for far too long,” Barlow’s Facebook post reads. “Obviously doing this isn’t going to change the minds of those who are intolerant, but hopefully it can help drown out the hatred with love,” shared Barlow.

At the time, Barlow shared that he would not only drive the truck around his hometown to show support in his conservative neighborhood, but he’s also planned to drive it in pride parades across the state.

And now, we have photos of Barlow doing just that. Barlow joined Oklahoma City’s Pride parade over the past weekend and participated in the joy happening over there. Check out the photos below to see how it all went down.
