Arguably the two most influential LGBT icons to sport a speedo came together a little over a week ago to celebrate greatness as well as where one had his start.

Witness USA Diving History as Mission Viejo, site of the world famous Nadadores diving program, bids farewell to the iconic diving platform. The most decorated diver in US history, a former Nadadore and Olympic Gold Medalist, Greg Louganis will take the “LAST DIVE” from the iconic tower from which he trained with legendary coaches Ron O’Brien and Sammy Lee, bringin his legendary career full circle, as it commemorates 40 years since winning his first Olympic medal.
Greg will be joined by Great Britain Diving Olympian, Tom Daley for synchronized platform diving.

The renovation of the complex will make the Marguerite Aquatics Center the only facility able to host synchronized dive events. The unveiling of the new Gilliland Diving Tower will take place in 2018.
