Two more men have been stoned to death by Isis militants for being gay, but not before they were hugged by their killers.

As we volley our opinions about gay groups charging the ancient 40+ year old homosexuals an admission fee to an educational pool party, as readers complain men need to act like men and stop acting like sissies, and as we debate which is better, dicksonaplane or the undiesoutrestrooms, and as the ban on #eggplant continues, people are being killed for being like us.  They're not being the grieving people we always seem to turn out to be, but their crime against humanity is that they are simply just gay.

Since June 2014, Isis has steadily released a series of gruesome images of the cold-blooded murder of a number of men for allegedly having gay sex.  The victims are either stoned, beheaded or thrown off of buildings to their deaths. Most recently, Isis last month publicly beheaded two men in Iraq for being gay. – mambaonline.com

Do we just do not wish to hear about it?  Out of sight, out of mind?  Or do we feel that we cannot change what is occurring for we have our own fights here in the United States, battling for equalities like marriage, adoption, wages, etc.  Most of us probably missed this story last week.

The horrifically bizarre scene reportedly played out in the Homs province of Syria and was photographed by Isis propagandists.  In the series of pictures, the two blindfolded men accused of homosexuality, possibly a couple, are shown calmly hugging their executioners.  It’s believed that the embraces are meant to indicate that they had been forgiven for their “sins”, although they did not escape execution. The victims appear to have accepted their fate, leading to speculation that they had been drugged. The two men are then seen lying on the ground as they are pelted with rocks in a desert clearing while a crowd watches on. – mambaonline.com

styles medium public images blog posts Adam Dupuis 2015 05 02 isis hugs stones ge man bizarre spectacle1 I did not include pictures of the stoning nor visuals from the previous atrocities by Isis against the gays they decided to behead, throw from rooftops, and stone.  MAMBAONLINE.COM has a handful of stories you can read by going to their site.  You know what?  Maybe I should include the picture here.  Why shy away from it?  We are already seem to be doing that as a nation.  So, if I do shy away, how better am I?  We have no problem seeing straight guy ass crack, dicks inflated in sweat pants, or pop stars grabbing their crotches, but when it comes to something that is negative and not pleasant, and ten thousand times more important, we just turn away.

Isis is a proponent of a radical interpretation of Sharia religious law which allows for the execution of people for “morality” crimes, including adultery and homosexuality. – mambaonline.com

We had more outrage and uproar over Russia and their laws against "Homosexual Propaganda" and against LGBT citizens in general.  But what is being done about Isis?  Where are the stars battling this atrocity?  Maybe nothing can be done so let's just wait for the next hot star to show his testicles so we can feel happy while the killings continue.

So maybe there is nothing we can do personally, but not recognizing there is an issue is not the answer either.  Was I catty in the presentation of this?  Sure, but then again being shocking and catty does get attention.  Yes, we will see more peen and ass crack on these gay sites, but we as well need to realize and recognize these horrific activities are still going on in the world.  So as a blogger, I'll try to cover stories like these in the future more so we don't forget, so they are not swept under the rug, or just left for CNN to cover if they have an extra 3 minutes.  Let's all try to do better and make sure these issues do not go unnoticed and not discussed.

  1. What an important topic and

What an important topic and what a shame Instinct allowed it to be so poorly written about! More of the article is written in petulant high school language about irrelevant badgering of readers it should be informing and rallying to act. More details, more in depth analysis, less pouting. And for heavens sake, a good writing class! The use of language for a magazine of Instinct's profile was truly unprofessional. If you think my critique harsh, think how important this subject is! It out to be on the cover; it certainly deserves more professional treatment than it received here.

If Instinct wants to fund the trip I will gladly head over there & do my part to stop this bull*hit. I’m sure there are several others out there that would grab their rifles & jump on that bandwagon. However, I unfortunately can’t afford to do it myself on a police salary. Usually cowards like these assh@les will run like hell when met with force. So just let me know when & where to pick up my plane ticket!!!

I have had so many nightmares about this. I mean, really, waking up in sweat and panic, crying and shaking. This has terrorized me, even from here is the US. These are OUR BROTHERS! …Our brothers…

    We have to help, somehow.

  6. Thank you, for this

Thank you, for this information. Just another reason the U.S. has got to step up and confront ISIS and put an end to their crimes against humanity. I don't wish to take anything away from our own citizens who suffer at the hand of family and society. But it's important to me as a gay man to be aware there are serious crimes committed against gays, lesbians & trans-genders that far exceed the issues I deal with.Thank you, for the reminder.

  7. You need to show more respect

You need to show more respect for gay readers, instead of ridicule. Who are you to speak to me as a gay man? Do you know what I have been thru? This piece is so dreary . Bad people are out there . Isis is out there.  We already know. Why don't you ask the straight community why they don't speak out?  Or do you get off shaming gays who stand up and be counted, are out to family and friends, and live as round pegs in a square hole?  Isis sucks . Period

  10. While this seems a million

While this seems a million miles away, and not the problem of so many of your readers…..need I remind everyone that in the US, on this very day, people are calling for the shootings, hangings and killings of all gays and lesbians in the country? They are asking for Civil Wars here in the US against the LGBTQ citizens when Marriage Equality is passed by SCOTUS. The images you see above are but a hint of what people here in America want to do to us! And they are no longer hiding in the closet, in back allies, back rooms or behind their churches! They are now proposing our murders legally on referendums in California, they are "clergy" preaching our violent ends from their pulpits. If you think what this article reports on has no impact on you or your friends or family you are sadly very wrong. The time to fight this hatred and bigotry and direct threat on our lives is now…..now when we start getting murdered in the streets as they are saying they want to do.

    • Very good that you pointed

Very good that you pointed that out Nathan! I thought the same thing when I was reading the story. Of course this is not the first time we heard about ISIS killing gays and it seems to get worse. As for America, many people think that can't happen here but they could be wrong. In Germany people also didn't think that killing Jews, Homosexuals, Gypsies, Mentally Ill and Crippled People couldn't happen and be sanctioned by the Government in Nazi Germany, but it happened. I am not sure if we can do much about the ISIS executions of gays but we can be aware of what goes on here in the USA and fight back. As Gays reading Gay Magazines we need to let the editors know that we are interested in more than gossip of what goes on with movie and TV stars and who might have sex with whom.

  11. Thank you for this piece.

Thank you for this piece.  This is not new.  I was part of the protest outside the Iranian Embassy to the UN back in 06 over the murder (disguised as punishment for a crime) of a teenage gay couple.  Captured when they were 14 and 16, they were held until they were 18 and 16 and then after being lashed more than 200 times, hung.

I think multiple things make this a blocked item – the first is that the conflation with a religion that is foreign makes the entire situation "other" psychologically – people here just simply don't understand Sharia law and its ramifications.  The Right thinks they do, but they don't – and the Left (to which I belong) try to protect everyone's rights.  This is a case where you can't.  We need, as a cultural whole, to acknowledge that yes, there are bronze and early iron age traditions that lend themselves to this type of thing.  Islam is not alone in having those, they existed in historic Judaism and thus in historic Christianity – we outgrew them as a people (not that there aren't a few fanatics that want to go back, there are) – Islam has not outgrown them, that is at least partially because of the conditions in the countries where it is strongest, but it is a reality.  Most Muslims are wonderful kind people, at least in my experience, and actually according to Pew American Muslims are among the groups that support equal rights for gays the most strongly – not true elsewhere, and no matter how good most are, their fanatics are much more willing to act on outdated ancient tribal law than Christian ones are – because of the underlying cultural differences.

The question therefore is how do we act?  I have donated to a group that helps Iranian homosexuals escape a couple of times, but that's not enough either — these things are horrific – what do we do?  I would love to hear ideas other than my own.

    Kind thoughts.

    • Hermes, I think it is great

Hermes, I think it is great what you have done and what you have written about here. The problem with donating to groups that help gays escape their countries is that it only creates new challenges for the people who are being helped. Where do they go? Which country will take them? They can't escape one Islamic country and end up in another just because they speak the same language. They will have the same problems again. These people should be recognized as refugees but the problem is that there are so many refugees from those regions, nowadays. So they get sent to a country whose language they don't speak and  where they are put in a detention facility together with other (straight) people from their own countries and cultures. Those straight people will treat them just as badly as they were treated in their own country because just moving someone to another location does not make them forget and/or change all of their customs including their hatred against gay people.

I think the UN needs to help. I wished I had an answer to the problem.

  15. Gay men in these countries

Gay men in these countries really have to train and create armies of justice, its very sad to see how other groups gather, organize and defend themselves, and we are at the mercy of these butchers and in the US all the homophobes who will stop at nothing to wipes us out of existence. Here we need to instill in the gay community the importance of being able to defend yourself against the atrocities that are being committed, this is not a red carpet world were living in…
