Fans of the Bachelor and reality television will get a kick out of this one.
There are many different forms and variations of reality tv shows out there. The Bachelor is no different and has several iterations across the globe, but its The Bachelor Vietnam that’s currently got online commenters buzzing.
The tv series is currently airing and had a shocking scene at the last rose ceremony.
Female contestant Minh Thu was disappointed to see that she had not been given a rose (and thus was eliminated from the dating competition). That said, she then shared that she wasn’t too upset, because she had already found love somewhere else.
“I went into this competition to find love, and I’ve found that love for myself,” she told Bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung, according to Next Shark. “But it isn’t you. It’s someone else.”
Minh Thu then approached fellow contestant Truc Nhu and asked her to walk of the show together.
Truc Nhu, looking conflicted, decided to follow Minh Thu, but only after momentarily speaking to Nguyen.
“I’m sorry, I really wanted to get to know you.”
Quoc Trung then tried to convince Truc Nhu to stay, but she left the room.
While all of that is amazing and the type of reality tv we could get into, the story doesn’t end there.
Later on in the episode, good ol’ Quoc Trung met up with Truc Nhu to convince her to stay. Truc Nhu then decided to listen to him and re-accepted his rose.
Let's be honest. This scene looks like it was faked and scripted for controversy and attention, at least to this writer.
That said, we can't rule out the possibility of this being a sincere moment of bisexual love and drama.
Fake or not, one thing is for sure. This certainly made exciting tv.
