Olympic figure skater and future Dancing with the Stars contestant Adam Rippon just got to do something super weird but totally awesome this week.
Adam attended the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Wednesday night, where he happened to be on that particular list of the 100 most influential people in the world. He was surrounded by A-list stars including Jennifer Lopez, Emily Blunt, and his potential new BFF… Nicole Kidman.
During his speech on stage, he mentioned how he was lucky enough to actually sniff Nicole's hunky husband Keith Urban while at the gala, which made the entire audience laugh out loud. "“I’m really able to be who I am very effortlessly. I met Nicole Kidman earlier tonight and she even let me smell her husband. If it wasn’t for the words that my mom told me, ‘Never give up on your dreams,’ I would never have had that experience.”
Keith actually confirmed this story to Page Six later on that Adam did in fact get a whiff of him. When they asked what fragrance he was wearing, he shot back, “My wife!”
So to recap: sniffing country singers and getting asked out on a date on live television are just part of Adam's daily life lately it seems. Totes jealous indeed.
