Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa In Atlantic City Amps Up The Sparkle For 2020

Once again, Atlantic City’s crown jewel is giving itself a little more shine. Yesterday, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa reported that they will spend $14 million dollars in a complete remake of both their vast lobby and three hundred plus hotel suites. It has been a summer full of innovation for the property. Earlier this summer, Borgata trumpeted the opening of the Moneyline Bar & Book sports betting lounge and it’s associated Level One Cocktail Bar & Lounge.

The renovation this time around will be evident from the moment you hit the doors at Borgata. The casino hotel’s lobby is getting both a new bar and VIP check in that is due to be completed this month. At press time, 312 suites are being renovated, with that work to be completed by early next year. The renovation on the lobby is going to include details like coffee service, a tapas and cocktail menu, and three large screen televisions. Weekends will see it include a piano bar, a nice touch that, as most recently as Pro Bar’s successful piano bar evenings with Bob Egan, has always been a favorite of the LGBT community in Atlantic City.

Borgata President Marcus Glover exclusively told the Associated Press that “by enriching our hotel product, we are ensuring each guest enjoys an optimal Borgata experience that begins as soon as they walk through the door”.

These enhancements are sure to continue to attract the Borgata’s LGBT community, which have always been a prominent arm of their clientele. So much so, that they have crafted the OUT At Borgata program solely for and in support of the LGBT community. Having hosted the Miss’d America pageant the past several years and holding LGBT themed events and concerts from Lady Gaga & Tony Bennet to Britney Spears to Countess Luann, Borgata continues to show why they have earned the perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2016, 2017 & 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). Borgata’s representative’s exclusively shared with me “The new Lobby Bar provides another one-of-a-kind venue at the preeminent entertainment resort in Atlantic City where we can welcome our LGBTQ guests for a memorable experience on property”.
