Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with these 5 Hot Mexican Celebs

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the French-Mexican War. Contrary to popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day.  A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage.

Here in good ole U.S. of A., we celebrate the holiday with pitchers of margaritas and endless baskets of chips and salsa. Then by 5 o'clock, it is one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor

Similarly here at Instinct, we celebrate the holiday by looking at hot Mexican men and lusting over their accents and their tall, dark, and handsome features.

Ryan Guzman portrayed Sean Asa in the Step Up series and Noah Sandborn, the guy obsessed with J-Lo, in the thriller The Boy Next Door. Listen, I love Jennifer Lopez, but how was she not just as obsessed with him?

I don't know much about sports, but professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya makes me want to be a fan. The 45 year-old is not only a total papi but also a bit of a mami, too. In 2007 photos of De La Hoya wearing fishnets and heels were leaked to the press. I'm here for it.

Michael Peña has starred in films such as the Oscar winning Crash and The Martian, but what you may not know about him is he is also a practicing Scientologist. Another fun fact: Add an "s" to his last name and it sounds like penis.

Erick Elías. Ay dios mio. This 37 year-old may not be well-known in the States, but is a big deal in Mexico. He is famous for his roles in telenovelas and for dubbing Flint Lockwood's voice in the Spanish-language version of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Type "Mexican hot sports" into Google and Raúl Jiménez will appear. Jiménez is a professional footballer (AKA soccer player) who plays as a forward for Portuguese club Benfica and the Mexico national team. Jiménez was a part of the Mexican squad that won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics in 2012.
