In one of the previews for the new season of "The Voice" we saw Miley Cyrus sing Jolene with one of the contestants. It was just a brief rendition of a song she had done before.
Like many covers, we were left wanting the real thing and that real thing is Dolly. In what seems like a great move to advertise their upcoming tour, which starts today, Pentatonix joined with Dolly Parton to sing one of her most well known hits.
Pentatonix (often abbreviated as PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas consisting of five vocalists: Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Mitch Grassi. Their work, which is mostly in the pop style, consists of covers of existing songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with their original material. Pentatonix is fantastic in concert! But be careful, they are addictive. You can never just see them once and you really do need to see them live to experience their amazing sound for yourself.

I saw Dolly in concert about 8 years ago and she was amazing. 2.45 hours and so much energy. When she did Coat of Many Colors, it was so beautiful. She sat down and sang with just an autoharp. I was in tears. I'd see her again in a heartbeat!!!
