From Stomping The Runways To Walking Down The Aisle, RuPaul Drag Race Queens On TLC’s “Drag Me Down The Aisle”

The boys of #QueerEye have a bit of competition.

TLC announced Drag Me Down The Aisle (premiering on TLC on Saturday, March 9 at 9 p.m. E.T.). This show takes the standard wedding planner drama and tension and turns it on its well coiffed head!

Emily may be a quiet Amish County bride who finds flannel more comfortable than couture, but with the help of some of our favorite RuPaul's Drag Race ladies, she's going to get a bit of help in the fierceness department. Given three weeks to save the big day, the RPDR ladies each use their own unique and vast experiences to help Emily not just look her best when she walks down the aisle, but also to support her in all aspects of bride-dom and to help turn her wedding reception into the event of Emily's dreams!

Broadway chanteuse Alexis Michelle, one of the top five contestants from season 9 of RuPaul’sDrag Race, has glammed up hundreds of brides and has been dubbed as the “bride’s best friend” by multiple mothers of the brides. BeBe Zahara Benet, the inaugural winner of Drag Race, has been a professional event planner for twenty years and has decorated countless weddings across the country in addition to modeling and recording her own album.

Thorgy Thor, a contestant on Season Eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, has hosted all over the country.  After jumping in head first in New York City and as a professional classical musician, has coordinated the music for thousands of weddings already. Jujubee, (aka Airline Inthyrath), a contestant on Season 2 of RPDR, Season 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, and a professor on RuPaul’s Drag U, is not just a drag queen, but also a well known makeup artist and professional singer that has previously been a MAC makeup artist herself.

It certainly sounds like we have a few more (gorgeous) faces out there making the world a little bit more beautiful in a show that has the camp-tastic-ness of The Simple Life merged with the heart of Queer Eye.
