Gay Adult Star Drake Von Arrested for Third Time This Year

For some people, “booked and busy” means a packed filming schedule. For bisexual adult performer Drake Von, it has increasingly meant something far less glamorous. The porn star has now been arrested for the third time this year, adding another legal headache to an already growing list of criminal cases stretching across two states.

The performer, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 28, on suspicion of possessing a toxic substance similar to toluene, according to booking records first reported by TMZ. Toluene is an industrial solvent that can be dangerous if inhaled. Records show Bacon was released from custody the following day.

The latest arrest is unrelated to the two criminal cases he is already facing in Nevada, but it adds another chapter to what has become an unusually turbulent year for the adult star.

Drake Von’s latest arrest adds another legal challenge

Authorities allege Drake Von was found in possession of a substance similar to toluene, though details surrounding the California arrest remain limited.

The case is separate from the legal proceedings already underway in Nevada, where the performer is facing charges stemming from two unrelated incidents. As with those cases, the California allegation has not been tested in court.

No findings of guilt have been made in any of the three matters.

Drake Von denies domestic violence allegations

One of the Nevada cases involves felony and misdemeanor charges tied to an alleged domestic violence incident reported on June 2.

Prosecutors have charged Bacon with first-degree domestic battery, domestic battery by strangulation, and felony coercion constituting domestic violence with threat or use of physical force. He has denied the allegations.

Speaking to TMZ, he called the case a “publicity stunt” and insisted the accusations would not hold.

“I’m very good mentally. This was all a publicity stunt.”

He also said the charges “will be dropped and [the] case dismissed”.

According to a police report, officers alleged an argument between Bacon and his girlfriend escalated after they returned home. The report alleges Bacon grabbed her by the throat, “slammed her on the ground”, and strangled her “by applying pressure to her throat restricting her breathing” until she “could not breathe and she felt like she passed out.”

Police said the woman had a bruise above her right eyebrow, a scratch on her hand, and redness around her neck that officers believed were consistent with her account. According to the report, Bacon declined to answer questions after his arrest and requested an attorney.

Drake Von also faces a pending DUI case

Separate from the domestic violence prosecution, Drake Von is also facing a misdemeanor DUI charge connected to a collision in Las Vegas in June.

He told police he had not consumed alcohol or drugs before driving. However, according to a police report, officers later recovered multiple nitrous oxide tanks, balloons, and rubber bands from his vehicle. Investigators subsequently obtained a warrant for a blood sample as part of the investigation.

That case, like the domestic violence prosecution and the latest California arrest, remains pending.

For now, Drake Von is juggling three separate legal matters across California and Nevada, each involving different allegations that remain unresolved. Whether any of the cases ultimately result in convictions will be decided in court. Until then, the adult performer finds himself making headlines for developments far removed from the work that first made him famous.
