As Instinct recently reported, the second annual Pornhub Awards were held last week in Los Angeles.
In addition to the straight porn categories, the adult entertainment website honored LGBTQ performers in four categories – Top Twink (Joey Mills), Top Daddy (Zilv Gudel) and Top Gay Channel (CzechHunter).
Except…some gay performers felt the event had some homophobic moments.
Adult performer Nick Fitt tweeted a video with his bf Clark Davis after leaving the event accusing Pornhub of treating the gay performers “like sh*t.”
“So we are leaving the Pornhub awards which was the most homophobic experience of my life and yours,” Fitt says in a video with Davis. “They didn’t even call gay porn stars up to the stage.”
“But everybody else that was gay got treated like shit, and sat in weird places,” continued Fitt. “They told us we could pick up trophies in the fucking trophy room.”
“It was just a complete homophobic disaster and I hope that STR8GAYPORN and Queermenow read this for f*cking filth,” added Fitt referencing two gay adult entertainment blogs. “Pornhub – shame on you. Really”

In subsequent tweets, Fitt alleged he, Clark and other gay performers weren’t allowed to walk the red carpet before the event, were given general admission seating far from the stage, and no gay performers were called to the stage to accept their awards. Those were just announced and the artists were told to head to a lounge to pick up their trophy.
The @Pornhub awards this year are so fucked up! They won’t let @cockyboys @ClarkDavisCB and I walk the carpet and they stuck us with general admission at the top! After I was invited @Str8UpGayPorn @QueerMeNow @TLAgay @ChoiceTMGMT
Who made these mistakes? No homo?

Pornhub awards update: @Pornhub didn’t even call the gay porn stars to the stage to claim their awards. They were announced and told the trophies were in the pornhub lounge…. @Str8UpGayPorn @QueerMeNow @queerfever @QueerClick @QueerPornNation
I’m so sorry @Joeymillsxxx ❤️

Not all sex workers are treated equally!
Leaving and def not watching because of the way you all treated gay people tonight! This is #ridiculous #horrible #homophoebic I guess I’m not part of the @Pornhub club 👍🏼

It’s all straight and gay-for-pay that i saw walking. All the gays/bi/trans that i noticed were upstairs.

Not a mistake. All the gay, bi, trans people are upstairs!

Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub, issued this reaction to the allegations:
“We value all talent and treat everyone equally. All performers were allowed to walk the red carpet. Everyone had to wait in a line to walk the carpet. Towards the show, the line got long and people were asked to take their seats. It had nothing to do with being gay or straight.”
“Half of all category winners accepted their awards on stage. The other half and fan awards were called out on stage and received in the lounge. They included straight and gay winners – not just gay.”
“General admission is general admission. Anyone could sit wherever they want, aside from a small VIP section.”
But Clark disputed those remarks calling them “a lie.” He added that he and Fitt arrived “ahead of time” but were not allowed to walk the red carpet.
No, this was a lie. We were there ahead of time, waiting in the front of the line and security not @Pornhub employees wouldnt let ua walk the redcarpet. Ask the people of @Men and @Sean_Cody_Com that were there. We were not allowed to walk. We asked multiple people. pic.twitter.com/bWqvUMH3Md

Fitt later tweeted that his profile on the Pornhub site was deleted after he “called out the homophobic actions and inequalities” of the event.
Because I called out the homophobic actions and inequalities at the @Pornhub awards show, my profile was removed from pornhub! Not surprised. MindGeek is the owner of Pornhub, they also own Sean Cody and Men.com, the biggest homophobia in the gay porn industry.
Pornhub also has double standard in intellectual property. If you upload any videos from other studios except for Sean Cody and Men.com, the videos will keep forever on Pornhub, but if you upload any videos from Sean Cody and Men.com, it will get deleted immediately.
MindGeek is using Pornhub to destroy/attack their competitor, they are so despicable!
