A huge moment for the LGBTQ community, this is Gus' first Olympics event as an out gay man. Speaking afterwards, Kenworthy stated "That's something that I wanted at the last Olympics was to share a kiss with my boyfriend at the bottom and it was something I was too scared to do for myself, and so to be able to do that, to give him a kiss, to have that affection broadcasted for the world is incredible"

He went on to explain "I didn't even know that that was a televised moment at all, but I think thats amazing."

We are ecstatic with this PDA, and we wish for nothing but good times for the happy couple!

  1. My god,  you haven’t seen two

My god,  you haven’t seen two other men or women kissing? Gus should’ve concentrated on his sport instead of acting like an ass on national TV. Now he’s coming home empty-handed after doing badly in the Olympics. Just tired of the coverage, with that big mouth, and all the big talk, he should have brought something home besides his BF. There are many gay men and women with big accomplishments. But hey, you’re queer and nobody cares .

  2. I like Gus.  However,  not

I like Gus.  However,  not winning a medal gives ammo to the anti-LGBTQ people and religious nuts.  Leave the politics out of it until you win.  Once you win,  you would have a better platform against the hate and bigotry.

    • Gus won an Olympic medal in

Gus won an Olympic medal in Sochi. He had a boyfriend then, and the boyfriend was with him in Sochi. So whatever "ammo" hateful people had is forever diminished. Not only is he a two time Olympian he is a medal winning Olympian, and being gay nor did having a boyfriend stop that.
