For some of us, the holidays are not so much the most wonderful time of the year.  Yes, 'Tis the season to be about joy, merriment, family, and friends, but there's some of us that still want for more, something on the personal level that is just not there.  Maybe this is our new favorite Christmas song?

 

Mariah Carey's festive hit 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is a wonderfully upbeat and heartwarming Christmas tune, but what happens when you make a tiny change and play it in a minor key instead of a major key?

Things change. Drastically.

I thought of this artist when one of the voice contestants this season did a rendition of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" that came out a little more somber than Miss Cyndi Lauper's original.  Here's Chase's version he released last year.
