It’s A Code Red She-Mergency As The Queens Of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Team Up With The Ladies Of “Charlie’s Angels”

In the past decade plus since RuPaul’s Drag Race took over the cultural zeitgeist, one thing has been made crystal clear; drag queens can do anything, including save the world.

VH1 recently released a short film that shows director/actress Elisabeth Banks’ Bosley recruiting RuPaul and several of his own dolls for assistance when a masked burglar threatens to snatch the wigs of queens everywhere. Drag Race season 11 contestant (and Coaster star) Nina West, Season 9 finalist (and Pose guest star) Peppermint, and All-Stars 2 crown holder Alaska are all primed and ready to take on this wily wig grabber, who is unmasked as fellow All Stars 2 finalist Katya (who, in a nod to true Drag Race her-storians, says ironically “I been snatching wigs since the crown was snatched from me”)! A quick tongue pop and a raised octave later, and Katya is safely ensconced in custody and the ladies are free to stomp another day.

As the queen’s get Mama Ru’s thanks for saving the world (yet again), another mission soon beckons. Banks herself pulls up in a white van carrying the new Charlie’s Angels stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, with the newly formed mega-team peeling off to fight a “lip sync assassin on the loose”!

Charlie’s Angels fighting crime side by side with the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race? That’s a sequel we can get behind!

Charlie’s Angels is in theaters Friday, November 15, while RuPaul’s Drag Race is expected to return for season 12 (as well as Celebrity Drag Race & All-Stars 5) in 2020.
