Taylor Swift and Jonathan Van Ness are a deliciously fun pairing that have one major thing in common: their love of cats.

The pop superstar and Queer Eye mainstay hung out earlier this week, where Taylor, 29, appeared to be fascinated with JVN’s kitty named Genivieve.

“Aunt Taylor came to meet Genivieve & the other babies last night,” Jonathan, 32, wrote as the caption to the adorable set of photos he posted on Instagram on Thursday, October 10.

Taylor and Genivieve had a moment in the first picture before going in for a nose snuggle in the second. “The second picture could end wars by the cuteness,” a fan wrote in the comments section.

The “You Need to Calm Down” singer commented on the post, referencing her obsession with Game of Thrones in the remark. “Genivieve of the House Van Ness, First of Her Name, the Unscratched, Queen of Meows and nose boops,” she wrote. “Catleesi of the East River, Breaker of Wine Glasses, and Mother of hairballs.”

Jonathan reposted the quote on his Instagram Stories, writing “F–k me up w this caption,” along with a couple of crying-laughing emojis. “I wasn’t ready.”

Jonathan, who dropped his first book Over the Top: A Raw Journey to Self-Love last month and just debuted his hilarious guest spot on the third season of Netflix’s Big Mouth, adopted two new kittens in August 2019 following the tragic death of one of his cats.

His cat Bug the 2nd died days earlier after falling out of a window. “I’m hurting so bad today I can’t put it into words, for anyone else experiencing grief & loss, I’m with you,” he captioned a photo of him with Bug on Instagram. “I’m sharing this mainly because if you see me around the next few days I won’t be my typical happy self and that’s okay. Not sure how I’m going to make this loss mean something more but in the meantime, please make a donation to an animal shelter near you.”
