The 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were revealed on Thursday, which found several members of the LGBTQ community up for several awards.
This included RuPaul, Ricky Martin, and the entire cast of Queer Eye (Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Bobby Berk).
Jonathan had a separate reason to celebrate outside of his nominations with his fellow cast mates, as his Funny or Die series Gay of Thrones got two Emmy nods including Outstanding Short Form Variety Series. It was nominated for this back in 2016. He serves as the show's executive producer.
Video was posted when Jonathan found out about the news, and well, it's full of so much emotion that you may need to grab a tissue prior to clicking play.
Congrats to Jonathan, the Queer Eye cast, and everyone from the LGBTQ community who scored a nod this year! Here's hoping for several wins come Emmy night!
