I’m a cinephile and a red-blooded gay man. Therefore, I have the exquisite films of Pedro Almodóvar largely to thank for helping me discover my sexuality. Those VHS tapes and DVDs got all kinds of paused. 

Remember Gael Garcia Bernal swimming in soaking wet white briefs in NC-17-rated Bad Education? Good gracious.
