The next story is completely horrifying. The Holidays have developed as an excuse to disregard your adulthood responsibilities for a moment while you spend time with your family. In the season of love, giving, and keeping warm in the coldest of cities; the Holidays may arguably be the majority of societies favorite time of year. As someone who returned home for the first time since leaving his hometown, I couldn’t be more thankful to have treasured each second with my large, happy family. However, for one couple in Northern New York, their Holiday met a gruesome end.
According to LGBTQ Nation, a middle aged lesbian, her young partner, and their two children, 11 and 5 years old, were bound and had their throats slit. An older son was not at home during the time of the murders. The Police Chief believes it may have been a planned attack.
