Lil Nas is up for Musical Event of the Year for “OTR” at the upcoming ceremony that will take place in November. He thanked them for the nomination on his Twitter the same day.
“OTR” was booted from Billboard’s country music charts after the music magazine thought the song wasn’t country enough. Perhaps this nomination is a Pretty Woman moment where he tell them, “BIG MISTAKE! HUGE!”
