Game of Thrones Spoiler alert: Arya Stark didn’t kill Cersei Lannister. She didn’t kill Daenerys Targaryen. She did however, kill the Knight King and then sailed off into uncharted territories at the end of Game of Thrones.
And if you’re wondering what’s next for Arya…that’s all up to your imagination. One thing we are for certain about Maisie Williams (who portrayed Arya) is that she will continue to slay in another way with her next big on screen gig as celebrity judge on the upcoming version of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Okay, not exactly the same kind of battles we’re used to seeing Williams in, but the lipsyncs are bound to be just as gag-worthy.
World of Wonder announced today that Williams will be taking up a seat on one of the eight episodes of the upcoming reality show that will air on BBC Three.
Williams, a huge fan of the show, said:
What I love the most about drag is the story of the drag queen behind the facade. I think that so much of drag comes from a place of real pain and seeing how that transforms into a character is so interesting to me. I love that about art and about drag.
Williams will join RuPaul and Michelle Visage on the judge’s panel. Graham Norton and Alan Carr will rotate as regular judges dissecting the overseas queens.
