Manila Luzon snatched millions of RuPaul’s Drag Race fans’ wigs during Friday night’s All Stars 4 episode when she debuted her unbelievably amazing “Silvery Foxy” look on the runway.
The ensemble (pic here), beautifully made by designer Christian Satrustegui (more on him here), is being called one of the best looks to ever be on RuPaul’s Drag Race by fans and fellow DR alumni like All Stars 3 winner Trixie Mattel. Her outfit and presentation are what likely saved her from falling into the bottom two after a less than stellar turn as part of her girl group during the main challenge with fellow season 3 contestant Stacey Layne Matthews.
What’s even crazier is that her look by Christian has made its way in the window of Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, California. It’s amazing to see how progressive our world has become where drag designs are now featured front and center at legendary locations like NM.
Manila, who made it all the way to the finals of season 3 and is still in the running for the All Stars 4 crown, posted a stunning video of her walking around in said gown during a trip to London, England.
The clip, shot by film producer Jasten King (more on him here), shows Manila walking around what appears to be a hotel across the pond in old school black and white while she poses the house down. The music playing evokes the sounds from films in the 1950’s, which is perfect for the setup that Manila and Jasten executed.
If this is only episode two of what Manila has to offer, then I can’t wait to see what is next from her. Werk.
