The comedian and actor has already had a rather exciting year, making his Broadway debut as Billy Flynn in Chicago. His time on the stage may have been brief, but apparently Matteo has no intention of letting the spotlight disappear just yet.

Matteo’s latest Instagram carousel begins exactly how you’d expect a thirst trap from the comedian to begin: shirtless, flexing those biceps and looking directly into the camera like he knows precisely what he’s doing.
It’s the kind of photo that makes you stop scrolling for a moment.
Then you reach the final slide.
Oh.
Oh, Matteo.
The last image takes the post from standard shirtless celebrity content to something considerably cheekier, with Matteo giving fans a teasing glimpse of his backside.
And naturally, the internet noticed.

We’re used to Matteo occasionally serving up a thirst trap, but this particular post appears to have landed specially with his followers. One fan hilariously wrote, “I can see Matteo’s Lane,” while another apparently spotted a little cheeky detail and simply declared, “That little hint of silver is.”

There’s something particularly funny about the timing.
Lane recently stepped into one of Broadway’s most recognizable roles as Billy Flynn, trading comedy clubs and stand-up stages for the bright lights of Chicago. Now, he’s back on Instagram doing what he does best: entertaining an audience, except this time the punchline is positioned toward the back.
Following his stint on Broadway, Matteo Lane is taking his comedy back on the road with his “We Gotta Catch Up” tour, bringing his signature mix of sharp wit, outrageous observations, and effortless charm to cities including Denver, Pittsburgh, Stamford, Ottawa, Montreal, and more. And because apparently North America isn’t enough, Lane will also be crossing the Atlantic in September for European dates in Copenhagen, Prague, Paris, Munich, Athens, and Rome.
Whether the carousel was carefully planned or Lane simply decided to give his followers a little gift, we’re certainly not complaining.
After all, the man has already demonstrated that he has the comedy, the confidence and the talent.
Apparently, he also has excellent timing when it comes to knowing exactly when to turn around.
