Mickey Keating: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Miss Pvssy: Strong women who didn’t take no for a answer. We have overcame so much people felt we couldn’t. Race, gender, and more to come. Girls who stood tall in a “mans world” and slayed every second…and Lil' Kim!!
MK: Why do you make music?
MP: Music is my freedom of expression. Writing my life and what I saw growing up. It really feels like an exhale. I love to explain stories of real life, I rap because I feel I’m the only person who could explain it, since it’s me.
MK: Do you expect to see beef in the new underground, era of rap?
MP: I don’t see or look for competition, I feel like everyone’s so different. Feeling like you need to compete only means you feel like someone is like you. And to me, I’m the only one.
MK: What can we expect to see from you in the future?
MP: More music and art. I love to write so definitely some short films to go with my music. I want to be the voice of the soon to be brave. Let them know right when you feel like letting go, they’ll always be someone who’s got your back. I’m not doing this for attention, I’m doing this because it’s what I feel…
