Mister Universe 2026 is still a couple of months away, but the competition has already given us plenty of reasons to pay attention. The finals are set for Sunday, November 29, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, where contestants from around the world will compete for the Mister Universe 2026 title.

The Mister Universe Organization says its platform is about much more than appearance, bringing together men from different cultures, backgrounds, and religions while giving them opportunities to make an impact through leadership, professional development, philanthropy, advocacy, and community service.
All of which is important. But let’s address the thing everyone is thinking. Have you seen these men?
Because between the athletes, models, entrepreneurs, fitness coaches, actors, and one particularly impressive collection of chests, Mister Universe 2026 is making a very strong case for keeping your calendar free on November 29.

Mister Universe 2026 is already getting interesting
The current Universal Choice Vote rankings have Israel’s Omer Halabi in first place, South Africa’s Muhammad Khaalid Mia in second, and Serbia’s Yves-Len Unser in third.
And, well… We understand.
Israel — Omer Halabi
At just 22, Omer Halabi is already an entrepreneur, fitness coach, model, and natural bodybuilding champion representing Israel.
His story includes a serious injury that threatened to derail his journey. Rather than letting it end there, Omer rebuilt his body and mindset and eventually turned that experience into part of his motivation to help others.
Today, he coaches people around the world, encouraging them to push their limits and become their strongest, most authentic selves. He is also building a global fitness brand and speaks Hebrew and English.
But let’s be honest for a second. The man is a natural bodybuilding champion. We were always going to need a moment.
South Africa — Muhammad Khaalid Mia
Next up is Muhammad Khaalid Mia, the 27-year-old Olympian representing South Africa.
Born in Johannesburg, Muhammad tried several sports before committing to gymnastics, a pursuit he spent more than two decades developing before reaching the world stage.
He’s also the eldest of six, and his sense of responsibility extends beyond athletics. Muhammad has worked with underserved communities and places considerable importance on leadership, discipline, resilience, and the choices people make every day.
So he’s an Olympian, he’s disciplined, he’s community-minded…
And apparently the Universal Choice Vote looked at all of that and said, yes, put him near the top immediately. We’re not arguing.
Serbia — Yves-Len Unser
At No. 3 is Yves-Len Unser, representing Serbia.
Born in Rastatt, Germany, Yves has Serbian heritage and describes himself as a self-made entrepreneur with a passion for personal growth and extreme sports.
At 27, he brings plenty of ambition to the competition, along with an interest in adventure and a profile built around discipline, resilience, and determination.
Supporters can vote for Yves-Len Unser in the Universal Choice Vote, with the possibility of helping him advance into the Top 6 finalists.
And judging by that Top 3 placement, plenty of people have already decided that Yves deserves their attention. We can certainly think of a few other reasons to keep looking.
Three more men we’d like to discuss
Because apparently three contestants weren’t enough.
France — Alexandre Jacquier
Oh, that chest. Alexandre Jacquier is representing France at 28, bringing together a rather unusual combination of country life, fitness, modeling, music, and surfing.
He raises horses on his farm in the southwest of France and works as a remote fitness coach, while also being fluent in French and English. His story is rooted in resilience, staying connected to where he comes from, and helping others grow.
Our contribution to the conversation is simply this: Sir, the chest has been noticed.
Alexandre is also in the Universal Choice Vote, where supporters can vote for him in the race for a potential place in the Top 6.
Dominican Republic — Michael Mayol
Then Michael Mayol showed up representing the Dominican Republic with bleached hair that is frankly doing a lot of work.
Born and raised in the D.R. with his parents and four siblings, Michael developed a love of sports early in life. A serious shoulder injury eventually interrupted his career, but the setback became an important part of his story, teaching him resilience, gratitude, and self-worth.
He later pursued opportunities in New York, carrying with him a determination to keep moving forward despite the obstacles. It’s an inspiring story.
The hair, however, is a separate conversation. And yes, we’d like to have that conversation.
Slovakia — Dominik Tabacek
And then we arrive at Dominik Tabacek of Slovakia.
Dominik is 27, a law student at the European University, and somehow also found time to pursue acting, modeling, sports, education, and his love of nature.
He’s fluent in three languages and conversational in two more, and his profile emphasizes authenticity, storytelling, and using his platform to give attention to people who aren’t always heard.
All admirable qualities. But we’re going to circle back to the tattoo. That tattoo on his broad chest is doing exactly what it came here to do.
Dominik is also competing in the Universal Choice Vote, with supporters able to vote for him for a chance to reach the Top 6.
And if Slovakia suddenly becomes your dream vacation destination, nobody needs to know exactly when that decision was made.
So, who are you looking at?
Mister Universe 2026 is ultimately built around leadership, personal development, philanthropy, and giving its contestants a platform to make an impact. The organization encourages delegates and titleholders to pursue professional and charitable goals while representing their communities internationally.
But the competition is also giving us a lineup that makes scrolling through contestant profiles feel like an activity that requires significantly more time than expected. At this point, asking us to pick just one feels unnecessarily demanding.
