The latest trailer for the upcoming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again arrives today and it’s, as to be expected, ABBA-tastic!
While we don’t learn any more regarding the whereabouts of Meryl Streep’s “Donna,” we do get more Cher – who’s clearly the “Cher-est” grandmother in the history of the world.
There is more singing and dancing as the prequel/sequel does a time flip/flop to explain just how the three dads (Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper) came into Donna’s life.
Some folks might be surprised at the sequel, but the original Mamma Mia! movie banked a whopping $609 million worldwide back in 2008.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again hits theaters July 20.
Cher recently gave a preview of her take on the ABBA hit, “Fernando,” which she performs in the movie musical, in Las Vegas at the industry preview convention CinemaCon.
