Closing his current concert tour at The Forum in Inglewood, California, UK pop star Harry Styles stopped to read aloud a sign held up by a member of the audience.
“Can I read this? It says, ‘I’m gay – and I love you.'”
And the crowd goes wild!
Thanking the fan, handsome Harry added with a smile: “We're all a little bit gay, aren't we?”
Styles then launched into a rocking rendition of "What Makes You Beautiful" while waving rainbow and transgender flags.
Here's the moment:
Styles has enjoyed being a bit cheeky about his own sexuality for sometime.
Back in 2017, during an interview with The Sun, Styles was asked if he ever labeled his own sexuality and he said he didn’t feel the need to.
“No, I’ve never felt the need to really,” said the former One Direction singer. “I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself.”
At the time, Miley Cyrus was making headlines with her own pansexuality, which Styles applauded but said he didn’t feel the need to mimic.
“Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive. People doing stuff like that is great,”
“It’s weird for me — everyone should just be who they want to be. It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that.”
Throughout this tour, the longtime LGBTQ ally has been dedicating songs to male fans and rocking out during guitar solos with rainbow flags.
In addition to many super-supportive LGBTQ moments on his tour, Harry has also been selling tour t-shirts with the phrase “Treat People With Kindness” in rainbow print with all proceeds going to GLSEN, an education organization that works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment.
