Assault Claims Against Buttigieg? Which Hunter Kelly Is Real? There Is A Tape?

We just shared with you all that a Vague Internet Post Accuses Mayor Pete Of Assault, Even Republicans Aren’t Buying It .

In the original post on Medium, Hunter Kelly tells the world he is 21-years-old and that he was assaulted by the candidate in February.

He writes that he “didn’t know who [Buttigieg] was back in February, only that he told me he was an important politician.”

Kelly goes on to say he’s an openly gay man who’s “struggled” with being gay for “a number of years.”

What and who should we believe?  Do we cast doubt against the claim?  Do we believe all claims of sexual assault? Heaven, Allah, Buddha, whomever, god forbid we wash away these claims and they are true.

But Twitter went crazy.  People started digging deep into this Hunter Kelly or the other multiple close accounts like Hunte Kelly, Hunt3rK3lly, @realHunterKelly. It was a witch hunt for the truth, but were we just given a morsel of information?

It seems a Hunter Kelly has slapped a #fakenews onto this claim.  Simply – I WAS NOT SEXUALLY ASSAULTED

His Facebook post tonight goes on to say:

To keep it brief for now- I was approached by a political figure to come to DC to discuss political situations from the standpoint of a gay Republican. When I arrived they discussed Peter Buttigieg and started talking about how they would be working a campaign against him. I went to bed and woke up to a fake Twitter @RealHunterKelly and an article that I in no way endorsed or wrote.

Thanks for clearing the air Hunter, now we need to clear the water, drain the swamp, get to the truth.

But as we watch this unfold on this Monday night and it seems to be bursting into flames, we ran across a tweet posted 4 hours ago by the @realHunterKelly about how he has been receiving several requests for interviews and he will tell all soon about the true sexual assault.

But the Facebook post from Hunter Kelly was about an hour ago. Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?  Now, it looks like the shady ones are Wohl and Burkman.

The Daily Beast is reporting:

A pair of right-wing provocateurs are being accused of attempting to recruit young Republican men to level false allegations of sexual assault against Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.

The details of the operatives’ attempt emerged as one man suddenly surfaced with a vague and uncorroborated allegation that Buttigieg had assaulted him. The claim was retracted hours later on a Facebook page appearing to belong to the man.

Both Jacob Wohl and lobbyist Jack Burkman were implicated in the scheme. The Daily Beast was provided with an audio recording of the meeting (I called it a tape in the title), where Wohl “appears to refer to Buttigieg as a ‘terminal threat’ to President Donald Trump’s reelection next year.”

This all unraveled in front of The Daily Beast last week, but if these men trying to smear the campaign and reputation of Buttigieg approached one young man, it is not a stretch to say they approached more.

Let’s have The Advocate chime in.

Kelly, who spoke to The Advocate on Monday evening, denied these allegations and said that Wohl and Burkman not only used his identity to create the false story and accounts, but also flew him to Washington D.C the night before.

However, while he is currently in Washington D.C. to meet with them and even spent the night at Burkman’s home, he says he did not agree to this tactic.

Kelly woke up on Monday morning around 11 a.m. to find that they had used his name and likeness to launch the campaign, and told him that he was the “star and hero” for being central to their plot. However, the student maintains that he didn’t agree with this.

“I woke up at 11am and spent my whole day saying I did not want this to happen,” he says. “My sister and her armed husband came and got me.”

This where we say “DON’T COME FOR US GAYS!”  In this day and age of digital records, social media, IP addresses, it doesn’t pay to be stupid.

Pete, if you deserve to have mud slung at you, then you must be a threat.

How do we get above these tactics? Well, we can look into some jail time for those involved. and then it may be best to move on, rise above.  But we will leave this right here…

Questions we still have  …  where is that tape?  …  and  …  can’t Twitter find out who is updating the @realHunterKelly?
