Rep. Brian Sims isn't here to play, especially when it comes to homophobia in and out of the workplace.
PA State Representative Daryl Metcalfe went on a major Facebook rant on Friday, where he called out and proud Brian a "lying homosexual" regarding a redistricting dispute. Daryl further defended his comments, saying that he believes Brian's sexual orientation is "immoral behavior."
Brian, of course, wasn't having any of this, and took to his social media to vent his frustrations towards the very obvious bigot where he used a reference from a legendary teen comedy.
"My most infamously bigoted colleague, Rep. Daryl Metcalfe took to his “burn book” to attack my colleagues of color and myself call me a “lying homosexual," he captioned. "I could use your help as I go up against this type of blatant homophobia and bigotry in the Capital."
He further went into his feelings about his unfortunate fellow representative:
"For the record, he’s a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, bigot. All of those words have definitions. His behavior, his public statements, and his legislation over the years all clearly rise to the level of those definitions."
"You’re a gaslighter who threatens people and then backs down and claims victimhood when you’re called out. It’s the ultimate sign of intellectual dishonesty. Grow up and at least have the courage of your broken convictions." TELL IT BRIAN! Democratic lawmakers are now calling for Daryl to be removed from his position as chairman of the House State Government Committee.
Of course, Daryl blocked him on Twitter as a result of all of this, which just showcases his immense immaturity. Brian couldn't resist poking the bear because of that, as he tweeted this hilarious meme when they see each other at The Capitol:
