While we knew Celine Dion would be ending her 16-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas recently, one thing we did not expect was the brand new anthem Dion would be performing as she ended her tenure in Sin City.
“Flying On My Own” is the kind of dance-pop anthem that Dion’s fans continuously love getting from her. “There’s something shifting in the air, if I’m not mistaken,” the pop icon belts in the opening verse. “The dust is clearing everywhere, memories awaken.” Launching into the chorus, Dion belts out “I’m flying on my own, on the wings of your love”. It was only inevitable before Dion gave her fans a worthwhile dance remix to her new single, and she has not disappointed;
There are already rumblings that Dion’s Courage LP (due late in 2019) is going to be one of her best. “Flying On My Own” is destined to be one of the highlights of Céline’s Courage World Tour. Kicking off in Québec City, QC on September 18 and then stopping in more than 50 cities, before winding up in Winnipeg, MB on April 27, 2020.
