The fourth installment of the Matrix saga has another LGBT actor added to the mix. According to Deadline, Brian J. Smith, who previously worked with Matrix director Lana Wachowski on the Netflix show Sense8, has been cast in The Matrix 4. Back in November, Smith, who played Will Gorski on Sense8, came out as gay. Smith is the latest actor to be announced for the upcoming Matrix sequel with original cast members Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith. It was previously announced that Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico) and Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) were also casted in the newest Matrix. The Matrix 4 reaches theaters March 5, 2021.
