Another openly gay actor has signed on to join the latest installment in The Matrix film series.

The currently untitled fourth film in The Matrix series is shaping up to be an interesting movie. With Lana Wachowski set to return as the director and co-writer (along with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell), we know the movie will be just as action-packed and LGBTQ-friendly as Lana’s earlier films and projects. But, having some reassurance like the casting of not just one but two openly gay actors helps too.

Frozen and Broadway star Jonathan Groff has announced that he is the latest actor to join the cast in the iconic sci-fi series.

“Omg this has been the hardest secret EVER for me to keep!!!” wrote Lea Michele, who has worked with Groff in a number of projects like the 2006 Broadway production of Spring Awakening and tv hit Glee, after the announcement. “I am so proud of my incredible best friend!!! This is going to be so AMAZING!!”

According to Entertainment Weekly, there’s no news on exactly whom Groff will be playing. What we do know is that he’ll be joining Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jessica Henwick, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman and Watchmen).

In addition, Neil Patrick Harris was also added to the cast. That said, his role is, unfortunately, also unknown. But with the inclusion of two openly gay actors, we are already pretty happy with this movie. We hope the feeling lasts.
