When you put the boys of Queer Eye on the Netflix float this year in the middle of World Pride, you expect some kind of magic, and maybe even a few tears, but no one expected a marriage proposal!
With music courtesy of RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Honey Davenport, a party was to be expected from this queen, who is known to completely turn the party behind the decks, as well as on stage. This year though, in front of a crowd of thousands along the parade route, Queer Eye superfan Joseph Alcantara asked his boyfriend Ryan Mark Rebeca for his hand in marriage. And of course… he said, “YES!”

The proposal location was just as epic; it took place on the historic Christopher Street in New York, mere steps away from Stonewall Inn. The couple has plans to live together in Boston. Adding to the emotion, joining the Fab Five on the float were Queer Eye Heroes Skyler Jay (Season 2) and Jess Guilbeaux (Season 3).
Queer Eye returns for a fourth season July 19 on Netflix, with the whole Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming), Karamo Brown (Culture) and Tan France (Fashion).
