Check out the second trailer for Ideal Home starring Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan.
Now, we’ll be honest with you. The second trailer for Ideal Home dropped last week. That said, Instinct Magazine (and all other LGBTQ new sites, mind you) did not cover it then.
Why? Well, it honestly didn’t come up on our radars. Perhaps part of that is because the initial shock and excitement over Paul Rudd’s bearded look in the film had already passed. Or, part of that may be because of the trailer itself.
After watching the trailer, this writer can’t say he’s too excited for the film. In fact, the second trailer kind of lowers expectations for the upcoming family comedy. With cringe-worthy gags like green puke and speedo wedgies, I can’t help feeling a bit embarrassed for all those involved.
But, is this just my opinion and is it warranted? Also, is this a problem for the movie or perhaps just bad trailer editing?
