The video of two grooms surprising their reception guests with a flash mob is going viral.
Isaiah and Taylor Green-Jones got married in Portland, Oregon on August 4th. To celebrate their wedding, the partners set up a dance for their reception (which you can watch here).
“We’d always wanted to do a dance video, but had never made a routine,” said dance cardio teacher Taylor, 35, to Good Morning America.
Taylor reached out to a fellow dancer to choreograph the flash mob that went along with songs like Beyonce’s “Before I Let Go” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”
The couple shared a special connection with Lil Nas X’s song “because it is sung by an openly gay black male artist,” according to Isaiah, 29.
Then the couple recruited their friends to be a part of the dance. The group rehearsed for a month before the big day.
“Everyone was surprised at the wedding. No one knew, so there was a lot of cheering, a lot of yelling. It was great,” Isaiah added.
Isaiah later shared the video online and was honored by the positive response.
“Online, there was a lot of support. I think people felt inspired … because this video showed a little piece of light in the midst of a lot of negative energy out there,” he shared.
According to ABC News, the two hope that the video shows others “the importance of supporting folks and celebrating love, no matter what that looks like.”

Too cute !
It’s such a shame that they went through all of this practice and choreography but didn’t arrange for someone to correctly record it in landscape mode.
