We Now Know How Reality Star Joel Taylor Died

Over five months ago we were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Storm Chaser’s reality star Joel Taylor. The Discovery Channel personality was found dead in his cabin aboard a gay Royal Caribbean cruise, Harmony of Seas, as it was docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The night Taylor died, he had reportedly collapsed on the dance floor of the ship after having consumed a large amount of drugs. He was taken to his room to rest but was never monitored. He was found dead the next morning. Taylor was 38 years old.

Last week, the toxicology report obtained by The Blast indicated that Taylor had, indeed, died of an accidental drug overdose. The Bureau of Forensic Sciences of Puerto Rico determined that Taylor’s body had a fatal mix of MDMA (ecstasy), Zolpidem (Ambien), ketamine (an anesthetic), and MDA (a psychedelic amphetamine).

Joel Taylor’s body was laid to rest in his hometown of Elk City, Oklahoma back in late January.

  1. Accidental overdose?..sorry.

Accidental overdose?..sorry..when you consume all those drugs willingly, that's NOT accidental!

If he did them "willingly" it would be suicide. I doubt he did them "willingly", he was most likely dosed with the Ambien by a predator. That would make it murder but they never investigate this when it happens to gay men in the U.S.

"he was taken to his room to rest"…I cannot believe this writer actually wrote that. More like he was ditched in his room while he was dying so he didn't ruin his murderers party.

My husband and I almost booked this cruise, but backed out after Irma and Maria. Kind of glad we did. PNP isn’t really our scene.
