Is World AIDS Day a time to celebrate, remember, mourn, educate, or advocate?  I think any positive way you choose to denote December 1st every year as World AIDS Day is a good thing.  It is the fact that we are discussing HIV and AIDS is the important thing.

How are we to get the discussion started this year?  Last year we reported that MOOVZ teamed up with some wonderful picturesque well-knowns to mark December 1st with the #weareAllclean campaign. This year, grab your lipstick, and get ready to #KISSOFFHIV .

Who:  Moovz (along with a few familiar faces:  Candis Cayne, Jack Mackenroth, Colby Melvin, and some of your favorite Drag Race girls).

What:  Moovz has started a new HIV awareness campaign that will kick off on World AID's Day with #KISSOFFHIV .  Moovz is asking the gay community as well as everyone on social media to join their #KISSOFFHIV campaign.  The concept is simple, you just take a picture wearing red lipstick and upload to social media and the Moovz app. and make sure you #KISSOFFHIV .

Where:  On Moovz app and all over social media.

Why:  Moovz wanted to create a safe place for people who have questions or concerns about HIV and or want to share the latest news and updates on the disease.  Moovz will have organizations (Impulse Group) on the app to offer advice, let you know where to get tested, and answer any questions.
The Moovz app will act as a safe haven and information center for HIV positive people as well as educate the community on the latest developments on safe sex.  – Moovz Press Release.

Here's Colby Melvin describing this year's Moovz campaign.  Watch and see what other red lipped faces you recognize.  Love me some Coco Peru.  If she's doing this, you know it's the right thing to do.

I may have to ask my roommate for a tube of luscious red, but we can get this done!

While I am writing this story at 12:26 AM EST, people are already posting to Moovz.

Last year, Moovz asked #weareALLclean participants to change their Facebook profile picture to the #weareALLclean pic they just took in the shower.  It might be interesting if you choose to participate … what am I saying … when you participate, to change your FB profile picture to you and your big red lips.  What better way to get people chatting!?!  They didn't ask to do this, but it might be a good way to get a conversation started.

If you don't do the #KISSOFFHIV pic, it's okay.  Just make it a point to talk about it HIV and AIDS, share about it HIV and AIDS, think about it HIV and AIDS.

Do you have the Moovz app? It's available for iOS and Android.
